Where the fun begins
Sonia Gottfried is a certified dance fitness instructor.
Although Sonia has been certified as a Dance Fitness instructor for over six years, she has been doing dance fitness her whole life. It wasn’t until her 30s that she realized that dance fitness was a thing.
Outside of dance fitness, Sonia is a marketer for an enterprise software organization based out of Chicago, which allows her to work from home and juggle a work/life balance. She is also a mother of three active young boys and married to her college sweetheart.
Sonia has lived in the Ann Arbor/Saline area since 1999.
I am thrilled to announce that I have been recognized as the Shining Star for January 2024 by SHiNE Dance Fitness Headquarters. This prestigious acknowledgment extends across a global network of over 1000 instructors!
I have over 5 years of SHiNE certification and have quickly built a community among two different locations. Sonia is committed and enthusiastic for dance fitness.
Wife & Mother
We are defined by our relationships. I primarily define myself as a mother of three boys, a wife, a daughter, a sister and a friend. Each one has specific interactions that have made me who I am and who I allow myself to be.
Worker
It’s funny how we end up where we are. I started out as a newspaper journalist for over 10 years. Now I find myself working for a Chicago-based software company managing analysts relations.
Everything else
Outside of work and relationships, I look to do things for me. This is where wellness and dance fitness play their part. My driving force is my family, my stability comes from my work and my sanity comes from everything else.
